Excellent Strippers (and we’re not talking about Channing Tatum in the Magic Mike XXL sequel)
Shiny, clean and well-maintained flooring creates a welcoming first impression to your customers, employees or anyone else that walks into your facility. Over time however, flooring may begin to lose its luster becoming dull and discolored. Excellent strippers can make your floors look like new again!
Waxing or applying finish to floors will create a glossy, protective layer that keeps your floor attractive and free from scratches and stains. However, over time these layers develop build up and may start to discolor needing to be removed before a new one can be reapplied. In addition, foot traffic and environmental factors like dragging in salt from the icy sidewalks continuously bring pollutants into contact with this coating. This attracts dirt and dust that embeds into the wax making it tough to come off with mopping alone. Enter: floor stripping … Stripping floors is an important part of keeping your facility clean and presentable.

What Does the pH Refer To?
PH is a measure (0-14) of the acidity or basicity of a substance. Solutions with a pH less than 7 are said to be acidic (such as vinegar and lemons) and solutions with a pH greater than 7 are basic or alkaline (such as ammonia and bleach). A solution that is neither acidic nor basic has a pH of 7 and is considered neutral (such as water and blood). Why does this matter?
Using the correct product, in the correct manner, can save you hours of hard work and frustration. Most floor strippers are very basic with a pH of over 7. This is extremely useful when removing floor finish, but can be dangerous if exposed to the skin or used too often. Now, greener alternatives are also available such as our e-clean stripper which has a pH of 10. It is important for you to know the nature of the floors you are working on because all of these options listed above have their advantages and unique characteristics.
